Q. What determines the number of missing, expired, or expiring soon I see on the dashboard under all requirements?

This number is based on your “active” requirement rules. Thus, if all your requirement rules are inactive, the number of missing/expired/expiring soon will stay ‘0’.

 

Active requirement rules create requirements that send out automatic document requests. You can recognize active/inactive target groups by their colour status.  

Orange: target group is inactive 
Green: target group is active, thus automatic document requests are being sent out for that requirement rule and target group. 
Red: no target group defined for that requirement rule. 

You can activate requirement rules by activating target groups. Click on the ‘three dots’ and then choose ‘activate’. After activating a target group, the automatic document requests will go out that night at 00:00. So it does not have an immediate effect.
