Sustainability Risk Assessment was developed in collaboration with SIFAV (The Sustainability Initiative for Fruit and Vegetable) and its purpose is to help you assess your supply chain based on 18 Social, Environmental, and Governance risks. The risk scores can range from 0 (low risk) to 10 (high risk).
With the Sustainability Risk Assessment, we aim to facilitate your supply chain risk evaluation through two main scenarios:
- You can explore the risks based on country, region, and/or product, and can navigate them through a geographical map or a table. This investigation may fuel conversations with suppliers regarding how they are currently mitigating risks and how they may do so in the future.
NOTE: This is not based on the users' supply chain information, but it is a general assessment.
In the pictures below you can see an example of the general assessment by country, region, and product in the map view, and the country assessment in the table view.
- This tool facilitates a thorough due diligence prioritization process based on your own supply chains and procurement data such as products, origin, and volume purchased.
You can create your own custom assessment based on your supply chain, where the risk assessment will be based on your personalized input data.
NOTE: For each of the risk dimensions consultancy Blue North Sustainability assessed the available data sources. Based on this analysis a credible source for each of the risk dimensions was identified. These were compiled in one comprehensive database which will be updated once a year
ACCESSIBILITY:
The tool is free of charge until 2025 for SIFAV members. In case you are already a SIFAV member, the tool should have already been enabled in your Agriplace Chain account and you should be able to see it in the navigation bar.
In case you are not a SIFAV member, the Sustainability Risk Assessment is an additional module to the core Chain application. Access can be requested by contacting your account manager or chainsupport@agriplace.com. The module comes at a cost and will be enabled for your account by one of our account managers.
