When adding organisations, the single upload seems the simplest way to do so, however, it can be the most time-consuming. We recommend using the single upload if you do not have to add many suppliers (+- 20-30), or if you have a few new suppliers that you wish to add after you have set up and are actively using your account.
Go to Organisations -> All organisations -> + NEW ORGANISATIONS
After you have done that, you should see the pop-up as shown below.
If you have the GLOBAL G.A.P. number of that supplier it is highly recommended to enter it since the platform will automatically fetch the available information as well as the certificates related to that GGN.
At this stage, it is particularly important for you to fill in their correct contact details if they are your direct suppliers.
If the contact details are filled in incorrectly, other SCA users will also have the incorrect details in their SCA account.
Direct suppliers are the organisations you are in direct contact with. It is very important that the contact details are included: if no contact details can be found in the system the platform will be unable to send out requests to that supplier and retrieve required documents for that direct supplier and their sub-suppliers.
This seems like the easiest way to upload your organisation. However, it is quite the opposite. There are two major cons to importing your organisation with the single upload method.
1. This seems obvious, but you can only add one organisation at a time so this will be very time-consuming.
2. If you wish to add sub-suppliers you will need an extra step - 1.5 Supplier Relationships - Creating your Supply Chain. In that step, you will need to manually add the supplier relationship, which will also take some time if you must do that for each sub-supplier that you are adding.
