Full release notes
Paving the way towards one network
Some of you might have already heard us refer to ‘the network’. The time is here that we are starting to take the first steps towards it.
With the network, in general, we aim to remove the duplication of sharing for everyone in the supply chain - from farmer to retail. Suppliers can upload their data (suppliers & documentation) once, and smartly re-share/bulk-share to other Agriplace users in the network as well.
In addition, we will move away from a structure that relies completely on requests (i.e. I'm missing something - system sends request) and allows for more pro-active sharing as well.
Public documents
As said above, we are going to take the first step towards the network, which is public documents. By making your own documents public, they are automatically shared when connected buyers have requirements for them. This ensures a large proportion of documents can already come in automatically, without any request going out, and saves a lot of time for sharing your own certificates.
To receive public documents from your suppliers, you need to link and sync to their public profile. The other way around, if your buyers would want to receive your public documents, they would have to link and sync with your public profile.
Public documents will be released later this month.
New and important: strengthen your public profile
In preparation for the public documents release, it is important to strengthen your public profile. This is to make it as easy as possible for your buyers to find you in the Agriplace network. It is vital to add as much information to your public profile as possible. Therefore, we have added the profile strength rating in the application. So, let’s go and get that high rating! 😉
Side note: as soon as you have implemented all the improvements mentioned in your company details, the profile strength icon will disappear from the main dashboard.
Some other smaller changes to the application
· In the “All organisations” page you can now see when an organisation was created in the “Created at” column and can sort columns by ascending or descending.
· You can now add notes to documents in the document preview.
· The column “Document request status” is now called “Task status” in the “All requirements” page. We have also now consolidated ‘pending’, ‘to be reviewed’, and ‘in progress’ under the ‘open request’ status.
· The SEDEX field has been split into one field for the Site code (ZS) and one for the Company code (ZC).
· Changes that have been made to the “sales & procurement” user role:
o Outgoing and Incoming requests widgets have been removed from the dashboard page
o Users should be able to share documents
o Users can create, duplicate, edit, export, or delete assessments
o The Manage Tags page is no longer available
o GlobalG.A.P. email reminders are disabled
o Users no longer have the ability to add/remove/edit/assign products in the portfolio or the organisation details page
As always, if you have any questions or uncertainties, or if you just want to say hi, reach out via e-mail.
With kind regards from your customer success team,
Helena, Laura, Otilia and Yoram
