This page shows you all organisations including suppliers and sub-suppliers that can be found in your account. You can filter, search for or edit your organisations here.
In organisations you have the option of viewing your organisations in alphabetical order or in a supply chain view. To see the supply chain view, click on "View options" on the right and turn on the button "show supply chain". To see the alphabetical view, you need to turn that button off and then next to the name you can find a small arrow if you go there with your curser. If you click that arrow, the names get sorted in alphabetical order. You can also export this overview to Excel by clicking on "View options" and then export view. If you only want to export a part of the overview you can put on a filter and export the filtered table. Additionally, you have the option to individually set up a custom view. That is only for you as a user and not for the whole organisation. It can be helpful if you are only interested in seeing a filtered amount of organisations and you do not want to filter every time you use the application. To do that, you click on the plus next to "All" and if you apply a filter there it will stay.
When clicking on an organisation you will see the following tab:
The organisation details holds all relevant data of your organisation. Make sure to add identifiers that contain an information icon in its cell. These are connected to a database and will retrieve information and documents automatically. Make sure to add in other IDs as well as we are constantly working on expanding our database connections.
Further tabs in the top bar show
- Connections: shows what databases the organisation is connected to (It can also say “GLOBALG.A.P.” or “BRCGS”)
- Documents: all documents about this organisation
- Supply chain: There you can see the supply chain of the selected organisation
- Requirements: all standards that this organisations needs to meet
- Products: the organisation’s supplied products and its seasons
- Sustainability Risk Analysis: it shows you the risk score of the organisation
By selecting one or several organisations you have the option to send out manual requests or add/remove a tag or product. Within the action button you can archive, delete, block or mark organisations as spot buy.
- Archived organisations: do not receive requests, are not shown in the organisations overview unless you filter for archived organisations
- Blocked organisations: do not receive request but (unlike archived organisations) are shown in the organisations overview
- Spot buy: are one-time organisations, do not receive requests, are not shown in the organisations overview unless filtered for spot buy, related documents are tagged as spot buy as well
We always recommend archiving organisations instead of deleting them since deleting them will also delete related documents and you do not have the option to retrieve an organisation. Deleting manly serves to delete a duplicate or a test organisation.
You can add new organisations to your overview by:
- uploading organisations in bulk using the provided excel sheet: click on "import organisations", click on the template, fill in the excel sheet and upload the template
- upload a single organisation by clicking on "new organisation" and adding the organisation information manually
Make sure to add a GGN/GLN/COC, QS Location ID, BRCGS and/or Planet Proof ID to your organisations if you have it. This will automatically link the organisation’s profile to the database to retrieve the organisation’s data (name, country, type etc.) and documents. Find out more about our database connections here.
You can find more information on the organisations' page here.
