The advanced requirement rules allow you to specify you requirements even more by adding more metadata to the requirement rule. You can review and accept documents based on their standard (e.g. gold; silver or bronze), grade or level (1;2;3 etc.). By adding an additional level of detail to requested documents, you can get even more insights into your supply chain. Once you set your company's standards, the platform automatically reviews your suppliers compliance. Therefore, once you set the requirement rules including a grade, the system runs by itself.
The supplier receives the request like before and does not receive a request for a grade, keeping the process of uploading documents as it is known to ensure that suppliers continue uploading documents.
Step - by- step:
You start by navigating to the tab "Requirement rules" and create a new requirement rule by clicking on "+ New requirement rule". Now you add a requirement card, give it a name and click on "Next" (bottom right). On this page the new functions come in. First, you select if you want to add a requirement on organisational or product level and then click on "+ add document types".
After clicking on "+ add document types", you select the documents for the requirement card. After you selected the correct documents, it will look like this:
By clicking on "+ add compliance details (optional)" you can make the requirement rule more specific.
First, you select the metadata field that you want to include. To do so click on "select field" and then the value that is needed for your requirement.
Then you select the operator and specify if the metadata should include the following value or should not include it (as shown below).
Lastly, you select the value that is supposed to be shown on the document. That value represents the compliance details or standard that you need from the document.
